Fuchs Black Jack 21 1x12 Guitar Amp Combo
Fuchs Black Jack 21 1x12 Guitar Amp Combo
The bigger brother of the lucky 7, the Blackjack 21 hits that halfway point between home use and bigger gigs - being perfect for those smaller clubs and venues. The punchy drive is sweet and singing, and has a tight lower end which stops all flapping around when you descend to the lower frets. This amp is incredibly light as well! definitely a one-arm job! Here's what FUCHS have to say:
The Blackjack 21® is based on a dual 12AX7 preamp stage and a push-pull dual 6V6 fixed bias output stage. Unlike other amps in this price range, the Blackjack 21® has a full complement of extremely flexible tone controls. A liberal amount of clean headroom is available before the output stage begins distorting with a sweet yet cutting rock edge. Voiced like its siblings the Train 45™ and Lucky 7®, the Blackjack 21® has a classic rock voice similar to a vintage Marshall™ or Trainwreck™; style amp, but with a more manageable power level. Its tone provides a cutting rock edge, filled with harmonic richness and chime. The circuit design also is "attenuator friendly". The Lucky 7® and its higher powered sibling the Blackjack 21® have a preamp stage designed to allow clean-to-mean from the guitar volume control.
