The Jimi Hendrix Psychedelic V was Gibson's first "inspired by" model. It's so rare to see one of these for sale now, as only 300 were ever made. This is a true collector's instrument, likely to be one of few actually for sale. This is preowned, but in mint condition with no scratches or imperfections. It sounds absolutely fantastic with that characterisic growl Hendrix used to conjure from his V's. It's got some real bite to it, but rolling off the gain and setting the tone knobs back a little make this ideal for the more mellow applications - I especially like this when used for jazz playing.
