Clean & Overdrive Channels
The Debut 50R offers two footswitchable channels (2-way footswitch sold separately), both inspired by Blackstar's award-winning valve amplifiers. The clean channel, modelled after the HT-20R MKII, includes a “Bright” switch and delivers plenty of headroom for crystal-clear tones. The overdrive channel, based on the St. James 6L6, covers a wide range of sounds—from smooth blues and classic rock to heavy metal. The Debut 50R is engineered to deliver authentic valve tone recreation at its core.

Silent Practice
Perfect for low-volume playing, the Debut 50R features a headphone/recording output with natural speaker simulation. This output accurately emulates the tonal character of a guitar speaker cabinet, ensuring high-quality, organic sound for silent practice or direct recording at home.

Power Reduction
With a built-in power reduction switch, you can scale the Debut 50R down from 50W to 5W, allowing you to maintain rich tone even at lower volumes.

Footswitchable Channels
A dual footswitch (sold separately) lets you seamlessly toggle between the clean and overdrive channels and activate or disable the reverb. This setup offers flexible control over your tone, making the Debut 50R versatile for any playing style.
