Delivery Information – The Guitar Store Southampton.
We use UPS, FedEx, and DHL for all of our UK, European, and worldwide shipping needs. Orders received before 1 pm are typically shipped the same day, using UPS for Mainland UK with Next Working Day service or FedEx/DHL Europe for European destinations (average transit time of 4 days). Please note, if a guitar requires a specific setup before shipping, this may delay the dispatch by one business day.
We recognize that many of our customers have busy schedules and can't wait around all day for a delivery. After testing various couriers, we selected UPS, FedEx, and DHL for their reliability and excellent customer experience. Here's why:
UPS Delivery Service (UK and Europe)
UPS offers reliable and fast delivery within the UK and Europe, with detailed tracking options. When your order ships, you'll receive real-time tracking information, allowing you to follow your parcel every step of the way. For UK deliveries, UPS provides a next-day delivery service, while European shipments take approximately 3–4 working days. You'll receive regular updates via email or SMS so you can know exactly when to expect your delivery.
FedEx Europe Service
FedEx provides excellent coverage for European deliveries. Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive tracking information via email, allowing you to monitor the progress of your delivery. FedEx offers flexible rescheduling options, enabling you to choose a delivery window that works for you.
DHL Worldwide Shipping
For worldwide shipping, we rely on DHL, a trusted global carrier known for its speed and precision. DHL ensures that international shipments are delivered efficiently, and you’ll receive tracking information once your order leaves us. Depending on your location, delivery times vary, but DHL strives to make deliveries as smooth as possible, offering both express and standard options.

Definitions

- Goods and services: The products and services provided by the company.
- Purchaser: The individual or entity purchasing goods and services from the company.
Ownership of Goods
Ownership of the goods remains with the company until full payment is received. If the purchaser fails to make payment, or in cases of insolvency or liquidation, the company reserves the right to repossess the goods. The purchaser agrees to allow the company access to their premises for such repossession if necessary.
Deposit Policy
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Goods reserved with a deposit will be held for up to four weeks unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Delivery and Carriage
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing by the company. The delivery charge may not reflect the actual courier cost. The company reserves the right to charge the purchaser the full cost of delivery for any unwanted goods.
Shortages and Damage in Transit
Any shortages or damages must be reported to the company within 24 hours or the next working day after delivery.
Returns Policy
Returns will not be accepted without valid authorization. All mail order returns must be notified within 14 days in compliance with the Distance Selling Act. It is the purchaser's responsibility to return products in their original condition, packaging, and with proof of purchase. The company will arrange free collection for faulty or incorrect items. For unwanted goods, the purchaser is responsible for return shipping costs. Once returned, goods will be inspected, and refunds (less shipping costs) will be processed within 7 days. A restocking fee may apply for incorrectly ordered items.
